Vanille lay awake on the sand too weak to move her vision gradually becoming more unstable her blood leaking out and tainting the sand. Vanille felt some grab her from under her arms to drag her out further away from the water. She tried to see who it was only to find her vision was distorted. The man removed his shirt and placed it over her head wound She couldn't make out the facial features very well, but she saw the man's eyes she looked at him and passed out
2 days later
Vanille looked around and saw the darkness she saw nothing but darkness. She folded her arms and shivered from the cold Vanille heard a distorted laughter full of malice and Vanille turned around and saw a pair of blood red eyes watching her. Vanille stumbled back out of fear and whimpered soundlessly the eyes came closer to her and crawling up Vanille ran away from the blood red eyes and before she knew it the blood red eyes were in front of her. The eyes moved towards her at lightning speed and Vanille closed her eyes shivering.
Vanille opened her eyes and looked up at a plain ceiling panting from the nightmare, she slowly moved to sit up slowly she found herself in a plain looking room. She felt a stinging sensation on her head and moved her hand slowly over the cause and ended up feeling white bandage patch on her head. Vanille touched it slowly and flinched from the pain. She lowered her hand and looked at the sheets covering her legs and the hospital gown she had on. Vanille looked at her hands what happened....where am I? she wondered quietly.
Vanille looked at the tray in front of her she saw the green plastic water container inside was the clear liquid. Flashes of water entered Vanille's mind she felt her heart pound and wanted the water as far away from her as possible. Vanille started to breathe erratically and kicked the tray away causing it to fall over making a clang sound.
Vanille closed her eyes trying to calm down her heart pounding like a manic she felt afraid and confused. Vanille pulled the blankets off her body and slowly climbed off the bed a dozens of questions entered her mind. The girl slowly walked towards the edge of her bed and saw a clip board and white paper on the bed. Vanille picked up the clipboard and saw the words Paitent's name Jane Doe
Vanille did not look at the rest of the paper she looked up at the bed Jane doe....is that my name, how long have I been here she thought to herself wondering how long she had been in this hospital. Vanille bit on her bottom lip and began walking to the towards the door and stopped when she saw the wet floor that was caused from kicking the tray away. She looked at the water on the ground and stepped away from it all the way back towards the wall.
Vanille leaned on the wall and slided all the way down until she was sitting on the cold floor.

Standing outside of a hospital room, William and his pack brother Damon stayed talking quietly while waiting on the girl they had just saved a few days ago to wake up. They had both found her laying on the beach with blood gushing out of her head. Neither of them knew where she had came from, or what had happen to her, though both the boys knew for sure, at some time, she had came across a vampire. They could smell sickly-sweet all over her, so strong they at first they wondered if she was a vampire, until William had tested her carefully, checking her pulse, that no vampire would have.
"Think she will wake up soon?" Damon asked beside William, sitting in a chair, before getting up and walking to the exit door just across the room, then waited for his pack brother's answer. Will looked to the floor, unsure and not wanting to think about what she might have been through. "I don't know. Where are you going?" He looked to Damon with narrow wary eyes. He didn't trust anyone apart from himself. Thanks to William's own mother, he was like that, he only ever trusted himself. "Try and guess.
" Damon chuckled, looking to the nurse passing them, knowing that it would only cause questions if he said the truth. Will half smiled, looking back down to the ground and hearing the glass door go, looking back up and seeing that Damon was gone. He heard something falling in the room behind him and wondered what was going on. He slowly got up and walked into the dark room, seeing the girl standing up, looking at a clip board. She looked weak, like she could have fallen at an second. She leant back on to the wall behind her and slid down it, until she was sitting on the floor. " Hey take it easy," he said with a calm tone, going over to her side in case she needed his support. He sat beside her on the cold ground, wondering if she was okay. The last thing she needed through was to be cold, after been in the cold water for so long. Even he was feeling the cold of the floor. Within the seconds that William had seen that she was awake, all the questions he wanted to ask her came flooding to him. " What happen to you? What's you're name?" he asked, watching her. He knew what he shouldn't ask her too many questions, but he wanted to know at least those two. [/blockquote]

Vanille continued to sit on the ground she had tried her best to remember anything, but it did not work, she tried to remember where she lived, but nothing came her mind was blank she kept trying to rember something useful but nothing came to her , she frowned quietly in the corner she was afraid as she saw the water from the glass she spilled the girl bit her lip nervously as she noticed an attractive strange come in. vanille watched as a handsome male came into the room she flinched a little and had her legs up to huddle in an upright fetail position. Vanille looked at the male she flinched a little as she watched him come towards her and sat near her, he seemed big on the questions she opened her mouth to speak to try and understad the questions and as vanlle tried to speak, but no words came from her mouth , but the girl tried over and over she but nothing came out. Vanille looked at William afraid and huddled tighter into the fetal postion,

William looked to the girl beside him carefully. She didn't say anything when he sat next to her or spoke to her, she only kept her eyes on the spilt over water in front of her, bitting her lip. Her arms were tight around her legs, he could sense that she was scared, greatly, not just a little.
She opened her mouth several times, but no sound or words came out. He wondered if she had swallowed salt water and that was why she couldn't speak, or was it that she couldn't? He carefully took the clip board from her hands and pulled the pen from the side of the board, flipping over a few pages to where there were blank pages so she could write maybe. "I'm William, by the way." he smiled and handed the the clip board over to her with the pen. "Can you write?" he asked, knowing that she didn't need to speak to answer him this time.
As William kept watch of her carefully, he started to wonder if she was cold from sitting on the ground. He could feel the coldness coming through on to his legs in just the short time that he had been sitting there and he didn't feel the cold. "Come on, I don't want you to get a chill." He wrapped his arm around her shoulders, helping her up and off the freezing ground.

Vanille looked back at the water nervously the very sight of it scared her greatly. she closed her eyes and shivered a little as her heart pounded. she opened them and watched as william pulled the clipboard from her, she watched his movements silently and nodded her head as he asked if she could write. She listened as he introduced himself to be William and she smiled, she took the pen and held the clipboard. her hands were shakey she felt cold.
Vanille felt Williams warm arms wrap around her shoulders and she was helped up, she felt so warm next to him, Vanille leaned in a little closer as she felt herself heating up. she wrote on the paper
your nice and warm. she showered him Vanille thought about it a little more as she leaned in and she began to write down
Why can't I talk ? how did I get here ? what happened to me ? where am I ? do I know you?
She wrote and showed the man she was hopeful that he could have some idea on who she was.

William held the girl tightly in his arms, careful not to hurt her with his strenght nor let her fall. She nodded his answer and wrote that he was nice and warm. He smiled at her and sat her down on the side of her bed, wrapping a blanket around her and sat next to her to keep her warm. He looked to the paper that she began to write on and then showed it to him. He looked to the piece of paper with narrow eyes. "You can't remember anything at all, can you?" he looked up to her carefully, not understanding why she couldn't remember anything. "No one understands why you can't talk. We're guessing that its because of the sea water, that you might have swallowed some. Does you're throat hurt at all? My friend and I found you in La Push and brought you here. We have no idea what happen to you..." William trailed off, unsure if he should tell her what they thought might have happen to her. Maybe telling her about a nightmare of a monster was real, wasn't such a good idea right now, but he wanted to tell her, maybe she would remember if he tryed to spark her memory. "You're in Forks Hospital, my friend and I brought you here when we found you. You were too badly hurt for us to take care of you. And no you don't know us, but if you can remember anything at all, please tell me, cause I can protect you, from anything that is scaring you," he promised. He held her tightly against him, keeping her warm again. He felt protective of her, but he couldn't understand why...

Vanille felt williams tight grip she looked at him, he had such a lovely smile she sat on the side of the bed and was wrapped by a blanket, she still felt cold, but slowly it started to get better she listened as he spoke and nodded her head, she couldnt remember anything at all, all Vanille could do was listen to the answers William gave her, Vanille wrote down
my throat it dosn't hurt at all, I am really sorry...I can't remember....I just remember waking up here...I am really sorry
She showed William and looked at him, it wasn't the total truth, Vanille looked down and flashes of that nightmare entered her head and she let out a shiver from fear, she did not know why, but the red eyes frightened her greatly, she continued to watch william as she learned that it was him and a friend who found her, Vanille pulled the paper back
you found me...thank you so much for helping me.
Vanille moved in to hug william tightly, her body felt extremely warm it was very comforting, she closed her eyes and kept her arms wrapped around william enjoying his warmth. she let go slowly and pulled back to look at William and wrote out when can i leave ? she showed William curiously

William looked to the message that the girl had wrote for him. He wondered why she couldn't talk if her throat wasn't hurting. It couldn't be the salt water that had taken her voice, so what could it be? "Its okay. You can't help it, I understand that."
He looked to the ground, half leaning over his legs, thinking deeply to what could have happen. He felt her shiver and sat back up looking to her as she gave him another note. He read it and smiled lightly again"Happy to help," he chuckled as she wrapped her arms around him. He smiled again without letting her see. He was feeling that she was warmer now, but still her heart was beating too fast, he could still sense that she was scared, he just wished he knew what of. He wondered if he should try and spark her memory, if that would help any. She handed him another note, asking when she could leave. He looked back to the ground, confused to the answer to give her. She didn't know what had happen, who she was or where she lived, so where would she go once she was out of the hospital? It wasn't like she could just get passed off to someone that she didn't know and so far William was the only one she sort of knew. "I don't know" he replied, looking back to her. If you don't know anyone or can't remember anyone, I guess you have to stay here until you remember something." He told the truth, though he knew that she most likely wouldn't like it.

Vanille looked at William she smiled glad that he did not blame her. she looked down and heard his answer to her question she looked down disapointed and grabbed the paper and wrote down
she did not know why, but the idea staying in a hospital scared her. Vanille looked at William and pouted at the thought of staying in the hospital, The girl started writing down before she crossed it out and wrote something else
Isn't there any other place, I feel....So you said a friend helped you when you found me, where are they ? I want to thank your friend for helping me, it would be rude not to thank them..
She passed the note to William and looked at him hoping that a change of subject might help her feel better about being in this place.

William smiled at her as he read her note. "His name's Damon and you wouldn't believe me if I told you." he looked away from her, sheepishly. He didn't want to lie to her, but at the same time, he didn't want to tell her the truth either. He kept the idea of her having a faint scent of vampire on her, maybe she already knew about werewolves and vampires and she couldn't remember that she knew about them. He wished dearly that he could tell her, but he wondered if it would be so bad if she knew. It would be nice to tell someone, William thought, looking up to the ceiling, leaning back on her bed, his arms behind his head, starring at the ceiling, while thinking.

Vanille looked at him, she listened as William spoke about his friend, she noticed William look away from her she found herself curious why he was looking away Climbing onto the bed she sat on it and leaned back into the wall with the pen and note pad on her lap. she looked around the small rooms, and wrote down
I hope I get to meet your friend...I really want to thank him for helping me
Vanille craweled closer to William and put it in front of him for him to read after a few minutes she pulled it back and poked him twice playfully and smiled an idea came to mind
Do I really have to stay here, isn't there any way of leaving the hospital...my head hurts a little, but other than that im fine really I am...beside there could be others who need this bed more than me. Vanille showed the paper to william and waited to see what he would say

William kept stare at the ceiling, lying on the bed. He felt the girl lean back again the wall next to him and hear the pen scratching away on the paper. She pushed the clip board in front of him. He read it quickly and nodded. "You will soon enoug," he said with another smile and looked back up at the ceiling, feeling her poking him playfully. He half laughed looking at her and seen that she was writing again, this time with a smile on her face. He wondered why she was smiling.
She gave him the note that she quickly wrote out. He didn't know what to say. He didn't know anyone who could look after her, and he was the only one she truly knew. It would be too scary for her to stay with anyone he knew and with how his power worked, it would be too dangerous for her to stay with him. "You could have concusion, I don't want you to end up back in here worse than we found you." he shook his head in disagreement, with himself and her. His mid kept wanting it, but he knew better.

Vanille heard his answer and pouted, she poked him again playfully she liked his laugh, Vanille continued to poke William playfully and sighed soundlessly as she sat on the bed.
The amnesic teenager tried to think of things to do, but she had no idea what she could do in a boring hospital room, she started to write something down
Since my head is empty, why don't you tell me somethings...like what is this town like...does forks have a sister town called spoons
She smiled playfully as she showed William the paper, she poked her tongue out playfully Vanille put the clip of paper next to william and climbed off the bed, she opened the blinds of the window hoping to open it and get some fresh air and saw it was raining, Vanille's eyes widen in terror. She shivered in fear and shut the blinds before she went back to the bed and climbed on it throwing the covers over her head, she shivered again without knowing why.

William looked to the girl beside him as she pouted. She was cute when she pouted. He laughed lightly each time she poked him. William was a little ticklish. The girl sat back in her bed, looking around the room and then began to write again and then showed him the note she had written. He watched her with a smug smile and narrow eyes as he took the clip board from her. He laughed again as he read the note.
He didn't look up when she jumped off the bed and opened the blinds, until they were once again closed. He looked up to her and seen her jumping back on to the bed, covering herself in the sheets shivering with fear. William could hear her heart beating faster than an heart beat he had heard before. He looked back at her, getting up swiftly and going over to the window, opening it just a little. It was raining putside, that was all he could see. He looked back to the girl, closing the blinds again. "You're scared of rain?" he asked, coming over to her side again, sitting on the side of the bed beside her and pulling the side the sheets off her face.

Vanille hid under the covers afraid, she had no idea why the water freaked her out so badly, but all she knew seeing it had made her skin crawl, she closed her eyes trying to calm down, but she couldn't all she could think about was how close the water was, the only thing seperating her from the water was a thin glass window and a thin blanket.
Vanille peeked slowly, to see William at the window he opened the blind and she quickly pulled the blanket over her head again, not wanting to take the risk of seeing the rain. The girl heard his question and as he pulled the blanket down from her face she nodded her head and hugged William tightly, and didn't let go, she watched the blinds and shivered at the thought of all that water outside it was horrorfying.
The human girl hid her face against William's chest afraid, she felt his unusal body heat keep her warm and slowly found herself feeling comforted by the warm man.
