A deep breath, then a leap, Aly landed on the far side of a river, a small shudder running down her brown pelt covered back as she stepped forward slowly. The entire area reaked of other wolves, but it was better than forks, which reaked of vampires, which was getting more and more easy to handle, which was pretty sad to say. Aly looked around nervously, she had no idea if the wolves claiming these lands were aggresive to new comers or not. She lowered her head taking a deep breath before walking forward towards the town. She paused and looked around, thinking she heard something, but there was only silence. Aly sighed and walked forward again, her tail swaying behind her as she strode. She began moving faster and faster, her paws digging into the ground as she eventually built up speed, now in a full out run. After a while of this she skid to a halt, setting up a cloud of dirt and fallen leaves. She jumped up onto a rock and looked around, ears tucked back as she looked around. Then a deep breath, she lowered her head, hanging it before slowly rolling up her neck, a deep howl errupting from her maw. She put her head down again and kept an eye out, knowing full well that someone would respond to her howl.

Lying on the ledge of th cliff, over looking the harsh ocean of his home town. Jacob's eyes were narrow with relaxation with the sound of the ocean's waves hitting the cliff. For the first time in a month, he was alone, with no one thought's in his head apart from his own. He enjoyed the time alone and wanted it so much.
He rested his head to the ground and closed his eyes, then looked up in a snap in the direction of the forest behind him where a stange howl echoed from. He knew that it was none of the others, or he would be hearing them talking to him. So much for piece and quiet he thought.
He stood up in an instant and began to run in the direction. He wondered if he should howl out to them, but then, that would attrack the others around. He wasn't sure if that was a good idea or not yet. He came to a trot as he scensed another wolf near by and kept looking around himself carefully, taking in each and every detail as he looked around. 'Anyone here?' he called.

She heard the paw faals of another and his scent entered her nose as she stood perked on her rock. Looking down she saw his form appear through the trees, a rather large wolf, especially compared to her, Aly smirked as he called out, she crouched down slowly then suddenly lept, clear to the other side of the male. "Well hello there, name's Aly." She stated after landing, turning to look at the male. she stood a few feet away, her tail swishing behind her as she looked him over, tried to read him. His fur was messy, he must have been laying down, and he didn't seem to happy to see a stranger, but he clearly wasn't going to attack at first sight, which was good. "Did I disturb you? If so i'm sorry, i just had to get away from the smell of vampires for a while and this was the only 'safe' place in the area, you mind?" Aly say down as if letting him know she was staying either way. She knew full well he could just call the rest of his pack and chase her out, but she wasn't looking for trouble, she just wanted someone friendly for a change, and this was a pack, she liked the idea of a pack, though she'd never been in one before. While thinking this over she sat dead still, the only movement was the constant swayign of her tail behind her back as she watched the male, taking him all in.

Walking through the forest, Jacob looked up to see the fem-wolf sitting on a rock above him. Her coat was alike his, but she was smaller compared him. He watched her warily with how high up she was, he was an easy target for her. He wasn't sure what her nature was, but he didn't think that she was going to attack him; lucky for him as he still wasn't recovered from the stinking leech, Kasey attacking him just the day before and then with his-so-called-pack brother giving him the last shot as he left with the leech's, he wondered if he would be able to fight at all if needed.
She lept from the rock, landing a few feet away from Jacob's side. He wondered if she meant to make him feel uncomforable with how she jumped or not, cause if she had, she was successful. 'Jacob,' he repled to her name as he heard it. He skipped her question, not wanting to make her feel bad. 'Yeah the vampire problem is bad around here, especially as of late,' he said with a humours tone. 'No, not at all, just watch you're actions but, I and the others will be looking out.' He went to walk back on the path he had taken from where he left the La Push beach, but stopped and winced at the pain that shot up his arm, from where William had hit him yesturday, as a branch swept over it. 'That should be healed by now,' he muttered in annoyance with how his pack brother had acted. He couldn't get thoughts and images out of his head.

The male seemed rather uneasy about something, and seeing him closer allowed Aly to gaze at his injuries. "Yeah the vampire problem is bad around here, especially as of late," "Yeah it seems so." Aly watched him as he began to walk, standing up slowly as he winced. She didn't know this wolf, but seeing him in pain struck a nerve, when she was hurt and alone no one wanted to help her, pr even be associated with her, this pained her to no end. "Hey you okay, what happened?" Aly jumped to catch up with the male who had begun walking away. She was glad she was allowed to hang out in the area, but her focus was on the injured male. Then it occurred to her, he was a wolf, a were, with an injury that wasn't caused a few moments ago. "Wow you heal slow for your size." Aly blurted out, not really thinking if the male would be offended by her checking him so intently, she was also standing right next to him, her fur might have even brushed him with it's fluffyness. Aly had completely lost her cool, all she wanted was to get to know this guy, or anyone for that matter. aly had been alone for so long, she'd gotten so lonely she'd even stoop to being friends with a vam...yeah..no she wasn't THAT lonely just yet.

Jacob turned to the face as the she asked if he was okay. He didn't like showing when he was weak or hurt, no matter who they were, even Renesmee he hated showing his pain to. He half turned towards the her, wincing again as the same branch swept over the side of his arm again. 'Yeah sort of,' he said with humour again, trying to cover the pain up. He laughed when he heard what she said about him healing slow for his size. A smirk came to his face. 'Not usually. I can thank my so called pack bro for it and his leech for a friend Kasey.' He looked to the path he had been following, wondering if it would be better for his injury if he was human again, but his clothes were back by the beach. He really needed to start carrying a backpack, it would be better than having to run off and find his clothes again, everytime he wanted to shift back...
He swished his tail from side and then looked up to the sky, feeling an icy wind come up. He was glad that he hardly felt the icy wind. He hated the cold and anything that felt cold since he had changed.

Aly winced lightly as he told her how he got his injury and she couldn't help but try and imagine how a pack member could be friends with a leech and still allow their 'brother' as he called it, to be injured. To Aly a pack meant nothing came between you, like a family. Aly lowered her head, following the male still. He seemed to be showing little interest in her and it was getting slightly akward for Aly, she felt more like a tag along than anything else. "Well that's some 'brother' you got there then." Aly stated sarcasticly, trying to ease a situation that she knew didn't want to be eased, this was going down the tube and was slightly depressing to the teen. she looked away for a second and then it hit her, she hung back a little till she could slip into a bush and quickly morph, thankfully she always kept a baggy T-shirt on hand when she traveled, it wasn't the perfect clothing but it covered the main parts. Aly ran forward to catch up with the wold, smiling wildly as she got closer to the male. "Where you headed anyway? I'm not really savvy on this area, and need a look around, though I'm not sure all your 'brothers' would like me around." She said, joking lightly as she tried to walk next to the wolf who was now nearly taller than her.

Another smug smile came to Jacob's lips when Aly mentioned about his brother. 'Huh yeah. Oh well, very pack has one I guess,' he shook his head, not getting over how understanding she was been towards him.
He kept striding widly through the forest, feeling Aly not far from his side. When she spoke again, it didn't seem that her heard her in his mind, more like his ears. He looked back at her and then seen her in her human form with a baggy T-shirt on. He turned a little red in the face and looked away again. He wasn't sure how he was going to explain things now... He wanted to tell her to stay where she was and been the only one as a wolf, he couldn't easily tell her to stay. He sighed and tried to think how to tell her. He looked in front of him and seen a stick. He picked it up in his mouth and found a spot of mud in the ground, writing 'stay' in the mud, letting her see it and then running off towards the beach, as fast as he could.
He got back to the beach within a few seconds and shifted back, shaking his head and shoulders where the heat lingered each time he shifted back. He walked swiftly back to where Aly had been.

Aly watched inently as the wolf seemed to strugle with his thoughts, giggling lightly as she remembered wolves couldn't 'talk' She saw him drag the stick through the mud, tilting her head to read the swiftly written note. "Sfay?...oh OH stay! oh okay yeah sure." Aly looked around and found a nice, clean-ish rock and sat down. Jumping up quickly as she toched the cold rock. A tiny shiver running through her before she sat down again, this time ready. She sat a few moments getting used to the cold as she waited for him to return, she couldn't help but beslightly curious about what the guy looked like as a human, he was cute enough as a wolf, but then again all wolves were cute to her. Aly seemed lost in her own world as she sat alone, the cool air blew over her and the next thing she knew her top was riding slightly higher than she wants and she was crouching down, peekign around to make sure no one saw the little slip up. Walking back up the small hill, Jacob started to see Aly sitting on a rock waiting for him. "Hey," he smiled kindly to her, walking over to her side, still smiling. His arm felt better as a huamn than as a wolf, he was no longer putting all his weight on his injery of the side of his arm. His hand brushed over the side of it with the thoughts and images that entered his head. But he contained and composed himself of going back and hurting all over again. Never did he think that someone alike William would turn on him, not when he had been in the pack for a few years like he had. Jacob had consittered William as one of his best friends, but he guessed that was over now...
He smiled, halfheartedly at Aly. "So what are you doing out here Aly?" he asked, looking to her.

Luckily aly had composed herself a little while before the Hey entered her ears. She turned to see the male walking towards her, a classic were build, big muscled and with a cute face to boot, Aly chuckled lightly. She could see he was off in his own world and she had just began going off in hers when his words snapped her back to reality. "Me? oh..uh..well to tell the truth.." Aly looked away from him, not really wanting to give out too much of her personal information. "I'm eh...hiding, from," Aly paused and glanced at him, trying to judge what he was thinking, very worried that he'd take it odly or see her as a threat to his pack's safety. "The..uh Volturi...they want me as a pet..." Aly looked away again, blinking silently as she ran over what she'd just said. She never liked her talking about her past and never wanted to actually accept the fact that her parents were killed saving her, and that she was now such a coward to hide from them, all she wanted to do was make a stand, but she knew full well she was far from strong enough. Suddenly it became apparent to her that her cheeks were wet. She ran the back of her hand over her cheek, finding it soaked in water. She licked it softly and tasted the salt, she'd been crying and hadn't even noticed. "Um, sorry about that..."

Jacob could hear and feel that she didn't want to talk about why she was around La Push. He couldn't understand why at first that she didn't want to say, but then, he understood completely. "You would be surprised how much the Volturi has been in my life," he murmured, thinking of how close he had come to losing Renesmee to them. He didn't want to talk about it, but he also knew that she didn't want to talk about her story either and did. "They wanted to kill my girlfriend," he murmured, not wanting to think what could have happen...

Aly looked up, slightly shocked, he'd been in contact with them too? She couldn't help but be curious as to why he'd have anything to do with them, and then it came out. "Girlfriend?" She couldn't help but sting slightly, she'd only just met the guy but Aly was quick to get attraction to a male she fancied and he'd seemed interesting, oh well friends were good enough for her. Aly looked around as it sank in that they wanted to kill her and one question sprang out of her. "Why..." Aly didn't have time to stop herself from having the question jump out. It was clear why the volturi would want her as a kind of guard dog, but she knew nothing of jacob's girlfriend and who or what she was, so she couldn't help but wonder. Her mind flew through everything from being a were to being a human they just wanted to feed on, it hinted at a vampire, but she distinctly remember Jacob calling a vampire a Leech, so that was out of the question.

He listened carefully to Aly's question to why they wanted to kill Renesmee. It was always a hard story to tell, but it was only fair that he explained. "It's a long story, but she was born a vampire hybrid and well word got back to the Volturi that she was alive and almost soon as they heard they were here..." he went and leant up against a tree across from Aly. He looked to the ground and kicked the dirt ground with his boot harshly. "I can't believe that I had vampires to thank for saving her" he laughed, looking to the horizon past the trees of the forest. He didn't know what could have happen if they hadn't been around.

Aly looked around akwardly, it was clear he didn't want to talk about it but it was too late now. Aly suddenly stopped all thinking and turned "A vampire HYBRID?" Suddenly her thoughts flew all over the idea...was there really a vampire who could contain himself long enough to actually MAKE one, let alone not kill the thing once it was born, but for all she knew the father had left the family long ago. Aly snaped herself out of her thoughts when it suddenly occured to her. "Wait so, she's half what, human? Who would do that? I mean what human is idiotic enough to lay down with a blood sucking monster? Did he tie her down or something?" Aly stood up off her rock and stepped towards Jacob, the conversation had suddenly turned serious to her, it seemed impossible to her to imagine that a baby could be born half vampire. "Wait...how is she your girlfriend? how can you stand the smell?" Aly stepped closer again, trying hard not to yell out her questions, she wasn't upset, she was just very, VERY curious on the subject.
