Shadow Fang had slept near the waterfall since last night's 'argument' of sorts. She knew few of the wolves ventured out here during the night, so she'd be safe.
The she wolf yawned and stretched her legs and shook out her fur. It had grown quite chilly since winter moved in, but she was used to it. This was nothing compared to what she grew up in. She stood there for a moment, just looking at the surrounding folliage before hearing a strange sound. She cocked her head to the side and sniffed the air for a moment before following the sound. It almost sounded like a baby crying, but she wanted to investiage, just to be sure.

William was sneaking quickly through the forest in his dark mist form. He was trying his best to stay away from Jacob after what he had done the last time the two met. The last thing he needed was either Kasey or Ambrose catching him with Jacob or one of the pack, explaining to them what had happened. He would be surprised if they ever trusted him again, but if they didn't, as far as William could see, it would be their lose. He was the strongest in the pack and they all knew that.
He slowed and turned back into human form, walking along the banks of a small cliff when he picked up on a new wolf scents. He ran slowly and faster until he seen the black wolf that looked like Sam, but it wasn't as tall as Sam. He smiled smug, thinking how he could play with this one.

Shadow Fang stopped at the clearing. She seemed to narrow her eyes, spotting, well, a human baby. It was crying, loudly. It must have only recently been abandoned, or left to die. Either or. Her heart sank, seeing the baby cry. It reminded her of her own lost pups. She couldn't help but whimper quietly as she walked over to the little human.
The emaciated she-wolf lay down by the human and brought her paw around it, bringing the human close. She sniffed it for a moment. It was deff abandoned. Shadow Fang seemed to smile as she wrapped herself around the little human, giving it warmth from her body. The baby's loud crying turned to whimpers, happy with the new source of warmth.

William watched the wolf for a while and then seen it lye down next to a baby. He looked at the two confused. He wondered where the baby had came from and why it was alone on the ground in the middle of La Push. It didn't seem right to him.
He walked out of the cover of the ferns and grass he was standing it, keeping cover. He stayed near a tree, leaning against it to show the wolf that he meant no harm. William hated been in hsi wolf form and the last thing he wanted was to go in to it just to talk some sense into the wolf. He wondered what her reaction to him would be.

A low growl began to build up within Shadow Fang's body, catching the scent of William. Her body tensed up as she looked in the direction of where he was. "Come out!" She snarled out, her fur standing on end. The baby began to cry again, feeling the tension in the air.

He rolled his eyes at the wolf and scoffed. "Save it for the baby. I only fight those who are in my own leage." He leant against the tree behind him. Crossing his arms and resting his right foot aginst the wet bark of the tree behind him, with his eyes closed, relaxed. "I'm guessing you know Jacob?" he aksed, looking up at the two, trying to ignore the sound of the crying baby.

That nearly got Shadow Fang to spring onto him. The baby crying reminded her though to keep her cool. If she sprang, it'd put the risk of the baby freezing to death. Something she didn't want to risk.
"I've seen him around" Shadow Fang growled venomously at him. Her tail gingerly waved in front of the baby's face, trying to distract it from the crying.

He scoffed at the wolf's growl. He understood what she said. "Typical... " He guessed that Jaocb hadn't said anything about what had happened between them, otherwise she would be either attacking him or calling out to the others. He decided to get out while he still could.
"I rather you not mention you seen me. Kay?" he asked, turning his back on the two with a smirk on his face.

Shadow Fang snapped her jaws, as though to say 'good riddance!' Shadow Fang looked down at the human and curled up tightly around her. The baby quieted down, grasping onto her fur, wanting its warmth.

He scoffed and started walking off and then got an idea. Though he hated what he had to do to make the idea work. He shifted into his wolf form, feeling the night air flowing through his long black slicky coat.
He moved around the forest, making it appear that he wasn't the same wolf as before.
'Who are you?' he asked in a kind tone, walking in from the ferns, up to the wolf and the baby. He looked down to the baby and half smiled, but he was only acting.

Shadow Fang growled, hearing the rustle in the brush. She seemed to narrow her eyes, spotting the wolf. "Stay away!" She growled sharply at him. She, in all honesty, didn't care who he was. Shadow Fang could fight him off easily, but she didn't want to risk the child catching hypothermia.

William smiled smugly under neath, but displayed a sweet smile. He heard her growl, but took no notice. He was more than capable of fighting her with his, abilites. He walked slowly up to her and the baby, keeping his eyes fixed on the two. He wasn't sure, but he felt like he had eyes on him from the forest behind him.
He stopped and looked around himself and her, not seeing a thing around them, nor smelling anything either. He wondered if it was just his imagination at work on him. Been paranoied in case he bumped into Jacob.

Hearing a cry in the forest from the beach, Jacob went to see what was going on when he spotted Shadow Fang with a baby and then, just who he didn't want to see... William. Ever since he had swopped sides with Ambrose and Kasey, he had hopped that he was staying away from the res, but it seemed to be right at home.
He growled quietly, his ears lying flat against his head. He was sure that William wanted something from Fang. He growled louder, walking out of the trees slowly. 'Get out of here William,' he growled, looking at him not far from Fang and the baby, with narrowed and darkened eyes. He stepped in front of Fang and the baby, lying close to the ground, ready to jump. 'I'm warning you William,' he growled again.

Fang's lips curled behind her guns, revealing her dagger-sharp fangs, menacing as ever. There was a bit of dried blood on them from her last prey-kill. "Get out!" She snarled dangerously at William. The baby began to cry loudly again, knowing something was going very wrong.

Sensing that someone was around them, William looked around the forest franticly. He was sure that it was Jacob or one of the others around, and he couldn't get caught as a wolf with one of them. He couldn' work any of his dark powers a wolf, he wasn't skilled enough to do it. He heard a small snap coming from the forest behind Fang, then hearing her warning with a loud snarl as he spotted Jacob coming out of the forest, also giving him a warning with his ears laid back against his head and his teeth showing.
'Jacob...' he said, bowing his head, trying to be respectful. 'I am sorry, but you were in the way of what I needed to do.'
He heard Jacob warned him again, taking another step forward. William phased back fully clothed, not risking a sirprise attack in his wolf form, where both he and Jacob knew that he was at his weakest. He wasn't skilled enough to use his powers as a wolf. It was one of the reasons that he hated been in his wolf form.
"Fine, be that way. Its your loss not mine." He turned around, phasing into a black mist and took off fast as he could, knowing that just leaving wouldn't be good enough. He knew that Jacob would take chase after him, making sure that he was gone out of his land.
When William stood upon the road crossing over into Forks, he phased back, looking over his shoulder with a smirk lighting his face, knowing that it would take some time for Jacob to cover the ground that William had just ran on. He was fast in his mist form. Too fast for the human eye to even pick up a glimpse.
'I wish that you could understand Jacob.' he thought, taking off again.
