Baby?

Jacob glimpsed over his shoulder to Fang and the baby as she also warned William harshly. He stepped closer to William as he phased back. It was obvious that William had been intimidated by both the wolves for him to change back. He carefully watching as William took off at lightning speed.

'I'll be back,' he said, looking over his shoulder to Fang and then taking off afer William. He had already lost track of William two hundred meters towards where he had gone. He sighed, giving up and phasing back and grabbing the jeans he had tied to his leg and pulling them on, before going back towards where Fang and the baby was.
"I'm sorry about him and Jessie," he murmured, walking up closer to the two. "Are you okay?" he nelt down in front of them, looking over the baby, making sure that it was okay. "How did you find her?" he looked up at Fang, wondering what she was thinking.

[Shadow Fang]

Fang kept near the little baby as Jacob ran off. She knew she didn't have a lot of time. She shifted back and did a quick change, it only taking about two minutes or so to get her usual clothes on. She picked up the baby and held it close to her. The baby clung to her bosom, wanting her warm.

"Yeah, I slept near here. I saw the abandon baby. The humans must have left early and likely abandoned the babe. Don't know why though" Fang spoke as she looked down at the baby. The child had quieted down and was enjoying the warmth Fang offered.

He nodded as he listend to what Fang had to say, while looking down at the child. "What do you think we should do with it?" he looked up to Fang, wondering if she had already had plans for the child. It wasn't like the child was anyone's now. He didn't see any harm in her looking after the child if she wanted to.

"Do you think its a boy or girl?" he asked, "Either way, it was lucky you found it in this weather." He glanced up to the dark grey sky, threatening to either rain or snow. He felt a chill in the wind pass strongly around them. "Defantly snow," he murmured, rolling his eyes, sick of drab weather.

[Shadow Fang]

Fang watched Jacob silently for a moment, thinking of what she could do. "I'd like to keep the kid. I know I don't look or act it, but I have had pups before...." It was part of her 'mutated' wolf gene that everyone in her family/ex clan had. The wolves could breed, even in their 'wolfie' years. Fang liked it, she enjoyed being a 'mama' wolf. "They were slaughtered for one reason or another, but I'd like a second chance at a baby" Fang said as she looked down at the child.

"That must have been hard to take, but I'm sure that you're a fine mother Fang," he smiled. "Do you have any names in mind?" He looked down to the baby in her arms, leaning close to Fang to block the icy wind from the child. "C'mon. Lets get out of this weather before we all freeze," he suggested wuth humour, walking back into the cover of the forest, then stopping and looking back to Fang, wondering where her house was.

"Red Fang" Shadow Fang said as she stood up. Shadow Fang wanted the child to keep her last name. Red, well, the baby was a red head. Heh, who knew, maybe the baby had the wolf gene in her. Shadow Fang smiled at the thought as she began to follow Jacob. "I really don't have a 'human home'. Not like you and the majority of the pack does. Can I room with you for the night?" Shadow Fang asked, smiling slightly. She knew she'd been, well, a bitch for the past few days. She hoped he'd understand it was just in her nature to be distrustful and bite first, bark later. //lol oh irony of wolves XD//

He smiled and nodded. "Nice name," he smiled again, watching as she stood up and then mentioned about not having a human home. "Fang, of course you can. You can stay as long as you want. It doesn't make any difference to me," he smiled, and held out his hand to her, to help her keep the baby warm with the icy wind down them.

"Thanks, I think the baby can start eating solids..." She said, looking down at the little girl, still bumbled up in the warm clothing. It didn't look too thick though...which meant she'd need to get inside fast. "How much further to your place?" Shadow Fang asked looking up at him.

"I wonder why she was dumped? It doesn't seem fair." He couldn't get over how someone would so easily just leave a newborn baby in the middle of the freezing forest in the middle of winter. He wished that he knew who had done it so he could give them a piece of his mind. He couldn't understand why they just didn't put it up for adoption?
"Just two-hundred meters from here," he replied to her, walking through the thick forest.

Shadow Fang nodded as she followed Jacob. "Dunno, humans are so...selfish" Psh, not just humans, all species were. Shadow Fang shook her head in displeasure as she continued to walk along behind the male wolf-shifter. Fang smiled to herself, quietly thinking over of how the baby would be raised. She'd keep it away from Jess, that was a sure fact. She didn't need him sneaking up on her or the pup. That would end with Fang breaking his neck.

"Yeah most are like that but not all... I have seen some good ones. Jacob smiled to Fang and looked down to the baby. "Oh and if you ever find a human hybrid around my place, dont worry. Its my girlfriend Ness," he winked.
