alex sat alone on the tree branch he was all alone with his daughters and adopted children at home unpackng their belongings and settling into the new house alex had just purchused. the young man had continued to sit on the tree branch his back leaning on the trunk he held out a book and opened it up.

it may have appeared that alex was slacking off, but truth be told alex was doing no such thing he was hunting, not for a meal but the truth, rummors had it that there was a species of shapeshifters in these parts along with a vampire coven that had the nerve to disobay the volturi and what was truly bizzare the shape shifters and vampires worked together in harmony. Until Alex could make sense of this hypocriciy he had grounded his children forbidding them to leave the house without his permission.

Alex had his twin daughters to protect as well as his other children, they were his everything his world his center and he had sworn to do everything in his power to protect his children. Alex sniffed the air and smelled the scent of a human hiker come by, the vampire waited calmly and saw him in a flannal shirt and jeans the man had short black hair and looked no older than twenty six. alex chuckled and closed the book he jumped off the branch landing perfectly, he walked towards the human wearing his black jeans and shirt with jacket, alex could see the curious look of the hiker and before he could speak alex moved in and bit his neck ripping a large chunk of flesh out in the process.

the humans screams filled the air until alex leaned in to kiss the human man ignoring the blood gushing from his neck, alex pulled back ripping out apart of the mans tongue in the process letting his mouth fill with blood, alex had spat the tongue off in the distance and leaned in to kiss the human and suck the blood at the same time.

He was teasing her like usual, nipping and licking her neck as they walked back towards the Cullen's house. He chuckled everytime he heard her moan and giggle at his touch. His arm wrapped around her tightly as he smiled, not believing how much fun he had been having with her over the past few days. It seemed like nothing in the world could go wrong at the moment, but of course, he knew better than to think that though. He looked at her with a wide smile, something suddenly catching his eye on her neck. A slight pink mark. "Whoops. . ." he chuckled. "Looks like I've made my mark on you visibly this time," he grinned with a cocky smile now lighting his features. Now he was in for it, not that he cared. He would take anything from Renesmee, he didn't care what it was, he would take it, anyday. Something caught his full attention at that point. I loud sound that hurt his ears. He had no idea what it would be or could be. "Did you hear that Ness?What the hell was it?" It didn't sound human, it didn't sould like anything he had ever heard before. But then the scent of both a strong scent of blood and sickly-sweet entered the air, though the scent of blood almost fully masked the sickly-sweet. He bite his lip at the scent and screwed up his face. He hated the smell of human blood! It was worse than sickly-sweet to him. He held Ness close to him, protectivly. Everything in his body was sending him mixed messages. His inner wolf was telling him to check it out, but his human side kept telling him to get away as quickly as possible, but of course Jacob was going to see what was going on. He stopped dead as he saw the sight. He hadn't seen anything like it in his life. It was sick! He felt sick, that was just how bad it was. He had many scenes over the years, but this one beat them all. He looked at the bloodied body and then to the vampire behind it. A shiver of raged went through him, but he when remembered Renesmee was behind him. The only thing he wanted to do was give this vampire a slow and painful death and it wasn't like Jacob to want to do something like that. He made sure that she shoot behind him as he still kept her close to his body. He didn't take his eyes off of the blood ridden vampire as he growled, fighting his inner wolf. He looked to Renesmee from the corner of his eye, wondering how she was going with the scent so strong. "Are you okay?" he murmured only loud enough for her to hear. He looked back to the vampire, another growl loudly coming from his chest. "Who the hell are you?!" he yelled, having only one reason for not ripping the leech from limb to limb. It was this that made him hate vampires still. It was the scene that made him let his inner animal take control, but for once, he couldn't let it take control for the saftey of Renesmee with the vampire in front of them. He wasn't going to leave her side even for a second. Something was telling him that this vampire was really bad news.
